In Lerins, there are two islands near Cannes:
- Ste Marguerite with the Vauban fort where was imprisoned the Iron Mask
- St Honorat with a monastery which can be visited and where the monks prepare a famous liquor.
Porquerolles is the most beautiful, some beaches remind me of the blue lagoon in Bora Bora. As in Nantucket (USA), cars are not allowed on the island. The best way to discover it, is to rent a bicycle, there are many pedestrian and biking trails.
Port Cros is a natural reserve. You can discover fish without getting wet thanks to a little submarine which takes you under sea. If you like snorkelling, don’t miss the discovery path in the waters to look at local fish and underwater explanations.
